Check out our WINDOWS 11 Support Center info about: OPTIMIZATION, KNOWN. 1,689 New member 04-06-2020 12:30 AM Product: HP Compaq 6710b Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit) After installing Windows 10 a driver is missing: PCI Express Root Complex Device ACPI\HPQ0004\3&b1bfb68&0 requires further installation. Your account also allows you to connect with HP support faster, access a personal dashboard to manage all of your devices in one place, view warranty information, case status and more. But my PC shows that, there is no device driver for PCI Express Root Complex and in device manager it shows as Other device> Unknown device. I have installed Windows 8 Enterprise 64-bit edition and all drivers that was on HP website. If anyone is aware of this issue and is able to assist with a solution, please kindly help me get this to work. Create an account on the HP Community to personalize your profile and ask a question. I have a notebook PC, HP Pavilion g7-2110sb. I'm hoping my issue is going to be easy to resolve too. I have seen other posts of people experiencing the same issue as myself, posted under older versions of Windows section, and those posts have been successfully resolved. I am not very good at computer troubleshooting, My Dell laptop recognises the driver in the Express Card Slot, I have tried Googling the numbers on the card (shown in the image), used the troubleshoot feature of Windows attempting to seek for the driver, have tried installing a few updates and drivers (Windows, and recommended DELL via detection feature).Nothing I tried provided a solution. I purchased a PCI Express Card on eBay and the driver disc does not work, therefore I have no driver to install for the 'Unknown Device', and very little knowledge on how to troubleshoot this issue.
